Have you made any changes to the tires/wheels?

Have you checked the PSI of each tire?

Just trying to eliminate the easy stuff first...

how d, i sorted the problem today, It was a brake light switch that was faulty so i replaced it with a new one and the asr is back to normal and the cruise control is fine. I need to know the code to rest the service interval on the dash??

I suspect the ribbon connector (mechanics call this part the "clock spring" because it looks like a clock spring) in the steering wheel column is failing. If the wheel is turned to the stops it stresses the connector and they will fail. To repair it you have to remove the steering wheel and airbag system. It is very important to install the new part correctly or it will fail. There are other indicators of this failure. The items on the steering wheel will begin to become erratic. The horn button on some will also become erratic. If I remember correctly the cruise set buttons are on the steering wheel. Check this out hope it helps. Jim
