My newly aquired 1998 E320 has developed some strange electronic faults.
It works fine until I switch on the headlights. On low beam the ABS warning flashes on intermittently. If I put on high beam everything goes to hell. I Get ABS and BAS warnings. If I try to indicated right I get a Screen Defective warning, and once it went into "Limp home" mode. I disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes to try and reset the electronics, but no luck. Other than that it is a wonderful car. ( It is actually for my wife, I drive a 1997 Landrover Defender 300 Tdi).
