I have a 97 e420 i spilled pop onto the center console this morning and a 1/2 hour later the passenger window rolled down by it self. Now it won't roll back up. I ordered a new window switch setup. but it won't be here till Monday and I have to roll the window up tonight. Anyone know how to get the window up by jumping the wiring at the switches, or taking the door panel off and doing it that way, if so how do you get the door panel off, I tried but cant get it all the way off is there some screws behind the air bag or something else any help would be great...

Try cover around the door lever. I had the same issue and if I can remember , I took off the cover round the lever to get to the screws. hope this helps
