Unhappy losing faith cant get help anywhere

1990 300e losing spark have replaced almost everything to do with ignition system nobody can figure it out and all they do is take my money ill get 20 minutes down the road and the car will die the n its get it towed back and next thing you know there holding it hostage i dont know what to do anymore please help.

crank position sensor?....sorry i just read your posts. check your overvoltage relay i think if its made in hungry is a bad one...itll say made in hungry and check the fuse in it. they cause alot of problems

i have replaced both and the relay says made in germany ive also replaced ignition module,distributer,coil,i dont know whats left i took the car to the local benz dealer they beat me bad charged me 840.00 to put a relay in i understand theres time to figure it out but eight hours labor and two hundred forty for a relay that cost 45.00 and list for 105.00 i am justlosing faith idont know where to bring it anymore i live in R.I. it seems nobody knows what there doing here i would realy try to figure it out instead of throwing money at it ive done enough of that to the tune of 2100.00 dollars im running out of money any ideas

Sorry,, just curious as to why everyone thinks its ignition?
How long does it take to run again?
The answer is out there, don't give up...

sometimes a few hours or a few days one of the members in e class said fuel pump relay i dont think so i pulled it out and still had spark that didnt make sense to me any way im still digging

Just for grins , the next time it quits go back and take your gas cap off.
Probably not the problem but an easy elimination.

any more thoughts on spark problem i sure could use the help

im still stuck with no spark 1990 300e i have replaced just about everything to do with the ignition the car still dies all of the time ive put a tow truck on retainer the local dealer says they dont know of course thats after they have taen more than 1900.00 dollars from me any ideas out there
