i apologize if this was discussed before, i searched but could not find. my AC just recently started blowing like a fan on my 98 E320. in other words it doesnt blow cold anymore. is it going to cost and do i have to replace the system, or can i get it recharged? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

 

you can recharge it yourself (if indeed it is low)

 

ok if you have an ac licence you can recharge it yourself if you get caught charging an ac system with no licence your in a lot of trouble. how do you know if your ac is low? what if you have a bad pressure sensor, what if your compressor is locked up. what if your evap temp sensor is bad what if your ac pushbuttons are bad. how about you get it diagnosis done first then go about fixing the problem instead of throwing darts at a dart board
