e320 wagon no starter
1995 e320 wagon. Two days ago my wife started the car and noticed a buzzing comming from the dash. She decided to turn the ignition off(wisely) to see if said noise would go away. Upon attempting to re-start the car, the buzzing returned, but the starter did not. The buzzing occurs with the ignition in the on position. Traced the sound to the relay for the hazard, turn signal, rear wiper/defroster.(odd combination!). I've tried turning on each of these and they all seem to work. The buzzing goes away when the turn signals or hazard lights are turned on.This leads me to suspect some sort of short in the system that is feeding back to the relay? Why would the starter affect this particular relay, or vice-versa? Upon turning the key to the start position there is absolutely no response from the starter motor. Is it possible that the ignition switch could cause such an odd thing to happen? Any ideas???Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I believe you need expert electrician for this one. Logics on car electric system don't work.
Have heard, that on BMW the malfunctioning door switch would put transmission into limping mode.
What are those programmers thinking about?
