96 E320 with 101K, will always start in AM after sitting all night, however, after running a bit will SOMETIMES fail to start. Turn the key and nothing, zip, nada, no attempt to start acts completely dead, no sounds. Turn key repeatedly and will sometimes start, but not always, if you let her sit, she will sometimes decide to start, sometimes not. Has good newer battery, and all power functions perform perfectly at the same time she will not start (headlights, horn, blower motor, ect). Hoping this is just the starter and not a wiring nightmare, maybe a flat spot in the armature, any feedback? I live in a very remote area and do not have a dealer anywhere nearby. This has been a very good car with little trouble, especially when you note that she is rarely on pavement in my home area and is used in rugged country. don't you think the ignition switch causes the problem?

the battery connectors are clean and making good contacts?
