Default Disconnect Drive Shaft?

I will be towing me sister's 1998 E320 from Northwest Arkansas to Phoenix next month. Being a RWD vehicle, it makes the tow dolly a bit more complicated than with many cars.

Does anyone have any experience disconnecting the drive shaft for towing? Any issues reconnecting it at the destination? Seems like a simple enough process, but I've never worked with Mercedes much before, so I thought I'd ask the experts.

they are 19mm nuts and bolts. some are 18mm. disconnecting it is ok but i guess youll be letting it hang down. because actually removing the shaft is more involved and youll need a lift to get to everything.

I'll find something to just hang it in place for the tow. Sounds easy enough, thanks!
