I have a 1995 Mercedes Benz E320, a month ago it began to just stop in the middle of an intersection, backing up and sitting at stop lights,good thing it started back. I took it in for a diagnostic and was told that I need to replace the O2S, CKP sensor, the water pump and the stop light switch. I had all of them done except the stop light switch, the same day after replacing the parts the car continues to stop in the middle of an intersection, stop light and backing. The next day I was told that I was the fuel pump and overload relay switches, of which I had replaced. And, wouldn't you know it, the car still stops, but this time I can go longer distances before it just cuts off and will not start back for at least 40 to 50 minutes. I don't want to give up, but what else can be done.
