Default Climate Control

Hello,

It would figure the heat, defroster and such would stop working up here in the northeast during arctic temps, but it has. Worked well last week, now nothing. Every button equals silence. I own 2 Jags and know where to begin. On this car I'm lost. I did go to the fuse box under the hood, all seems well there, I exchanged fuses. 96 E320. Also within the last 2 weeks as well I am getting no mileage reading. The light is there but its blank. Speedometer console lights when out too. Any suggestions would be great, its the wife's car, and she is miserable, which makes me miserable! Plus she will steal my JAG!

Default all I know

the lights in the dash are an easy replace. they should be 2 194 bulbs that go in there. Have someone install them if you dont know how to remove the instrument cluster. But thats a super easy fix. as far as heater goes...sounds like you check the fuses. I replace the climate control unit in my car and you might have to do the same depending...

Thank you for taking the time to reply. The motor was frozen up, years of use without lubrication. It took about 6 1/2 hours for me to dig it out. Works as new again.
