you make a drawing, photo, or give the control unit number too.

how do you get the panel that's around the radio and climate control unit off?? is there screws (and if so where?) or does it pop off with a screw driver or what? i havnt actually had MY hands on, im trying to best explain how to do this to my mom and step dad since im away from home right now. any more specific instructions would be appreciated. thanks for the diagram

i just recently changed the bulb, it's a simple process, just take out the climate control panel w/ the mercedes tool, and it's on the bottom, it's this little white screw w/ the bulb connected to it... just replace the bulb, and the climate control light will appear again. I just had the same problem recently, and now it's working fine again.

in order to remove the climate control panel.. you need these tools. you see in the picture of your climate panel, below auto and circulation buttons (opposite side of the auto) there's alittle slot where you stick these tools (i'll have the picture at the bottom) in and just pull the panel out, but you can't just buy these tools anywhere, they're pretty expensive. I haven't tried using a screw driver or anything, but it's just easier if you can find a place that specializes in mercedes, most likely they'll have the tool.
