Default Central locking Probs

Guys my e320 2002 which i purchased recently was all fine until yesterday morning I tried to open the doors with the fob, all the doors opened except the driver door lock, it bounced the lock up and down two or three time before it went back down again, I was locked out for a while until i kept pressing and the lock just landed on the 'upside' The same prob happens when closing the locks with the fob, all the other doors lock fine but not the driver door, it keeps bouncing up & down several times and I have to press the fob several times hoping the lock ends up on closed/locked. Someone said it could be relay? i dont know?

Can someone advise pls?

Hi
Drivers door lock (pneumatically controlled) likely bad. Alternatively it could be just the door trim preventing the sill lock button travelling fully home. Remove the door trim and see if problem persists.
The PSE (Pneumatic Seculrity Pump) must be OK because the other locks all behave themselves. The PSE is common to all locks although each is connected with a separate length of tubing which could potentially have a kink or is leaking.
Stuart.
