now my question is what are the widest tires i can fit with out having any problems?

 

7.5 widest no problems.

 

If you would like your rims any wider than 7.5" i would suggest buying spacers. with spacers, any deep dish rim or wide rim would fit without a hassle. my rims are 8.5' in width they fit perfectly on my car with spacers.i have a 1986 300e and my rims were off a 2005 c280 any new rim up to 18" would fit.anything over would be a problem.
