Does anyone have any advice on how to get the trans out of Limp Home Mode. Its a 97 E320, 722.605 trans. Previous owner never change trans fluid. One day she wouldn't shift out of first when taking off from a light. Changedfluid and filter, but now shes stuck in Limp Home Mode. I'm looking into getting the CarSoft 7.4 and multiplexer. I'd prefer not to go to the stealership if I don't have to.

 

as far as I know limp home mode is nottransmission related, it's engine but i could be wrong. limp home could maybe show up as a transmission thing but i would bet against that if i were a gambling man
