Default ml 320 limp home mode?

Hello all,
Please help!! i got a ml320 that just will not move. new fuel pump and filter blah blah blah. Is there something i am missing? It had ets/abs light on and mechanic (very trusted and old school MB guy) found something ate through front right abs sensor wire. Fixed that all lights went out still wont accelerate?!?!?! he even tried a new ecu with no luck.

Thanks,

Time to get a new school MB guy then. The problem could be a number of things and what I find interesting is that a lot of these mechanics have no idea how to fix limp-mode problems. They throw parts at it until the problem is fixed before addressing a cause.

This may be transmission problem.Limp home mode is when trany lock in 2-nd gear allow you to drove home or car shop. You can't accelerate, just slowly ,,limp" back home for short distance.I suspect electronic sending unit failure. But it may be just low level transmission fluid or so.Find someone with code reader to check computer fault codes.
