"97 E420.... has anyone changed the sensor on their AC.....??? If I leave it at LOW mode...it stays cold..[sm=smiley14.gif]?? but if you adjust to any temp..... it doesn't work..?? it just shuts off and blows outside air[sm=smiley6.gif]...?? let me know...thanks

Don't know how they changed between 97 and 99 but if you have onboard climate control diagnostics,run them post the values and error codes and maybe someone has the solution.Lexrex over at mbworld.org forum has tons of info on a/c so maybe you should check out those threads.Is it dual climate control?Do you know how to run the tests?
