i have 99 e430, in limp mode and only goes into 1st and reveres and runs about 25mph. Check engine light is on and when i put into drive it jerks real bad.

I read the other posting with the similar problem i have and no one had a anwer to their question?

what is the normal fix to this problem?

Have you read and recorded the codes and posted them here?
Have you tried a reset of the cars systems?
Have you inspected the electrical fitting for leaks where it enters the transmission on the passenger side?
