In my Mercedes E320 2001, sometimes remote does not working to lock and unlock. The batteries are new. Before it was fine. I am having this problem since about a week. Any suggestions what to do.

Could be the PSE beginning to show fault symptoms.
PSE doesn't like water / moisture.

Interior light working correctly?
Spurious bulb failure warnings?

These apparently different symptoms are linked to PSE issues. However not always present.

Interior lights are working fine, no spurious bulb failure warnings. What is PSE? Any solution?

PSE = Pneumatic Security thingamebob.

A black box that controls many systems located in the trunk or rear seat area with lots of yellow tubes going to it.

I took the battery out of my remote and put it back in. I have not had the problem since then. 2002 e320
