'99 E320 Shut Off at Stoplight
My '99 E320 shut off without warning at a stoplight today.I had to turn the key 4 or 5 times before the starter finally kicked in and started the engine.It ran normal after that.Could it be the ignition switch or starter acting up?This car has only 75000,00 miles and has always run perfect.Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Cranked over but did not start for a few tries and then cranked and started, right?
It will only get worse and take longer to start as the cps fails more completely.
CPS replacement. Crankshaft position sensor.
easy diy,takes some time and contortions to get at it but it is only under 60 bucks at www.autohausaz.com and you can do it.
