i have a 300te that used to run with the idle at 2000rpm or higher when engine warmed up and now it wont stay running by itself i have to keep my foot on the gas pedal or it dies, it just wont stay at minimum rpm.what causes this?

 

I think you need at least 3000 rpm to keep engine idling...

 

normal is 750 to 850 rpms
