Default 1988 300TE idle problem

Engine does not want to idle when first started cold or after sitting for more than 15 min. Takes serveral to many start attempts to get the engine to idle roughly. Once engine warms up it idles OK. Not the cold start valve, idle control valve, engine computer, or air mass sensor. Cold start valve and idle control valve are new. Tried a spare engine computer that I have. Idle valve sensor on air mass sensor tests within specified limits (> 1.0 ohms).

Did you try:

- to adjust the iddle with the screw in middle of the air filter box (use a long allen key)

- adjust the tension of gas pedal cable?

could be alot of things adjust lambda first. you must have a meter to do that or you will just screw things up more.
