I just bought this 1994 e320 last July. It has 151K, old owner put in new engine at 148K. It runs great until 10 mins into the ride, then starts wanting to stall. The engine automatically revs to keep it from stalling. This is my first (but not my last) Benz. I know VERY little about foriegn cars. We just moved into the area also. The man who I bought this from used a mechanic about 40-50 miles from here and I don't know if I should drive this all the way there? Or is it something I could take care of? I'm not stupid, but I'm no Benz mechanic either! Help! PLEASE?

 

Zeegrl, You must first start witha complete Ignition checkup and change what is worn. Plugs, cap,rotor, wires, and have them check the rotor adapter mount. The stalling can be caused by one of many things, but I would do the Ign tune up, and change the OVP relay to start, Its generally located behind the battery, and had two fuses in it. Get a mechanic to help you do this. if you need parts for your car go here....
