Hi folks,

Recently I've noticed a high pitch whine/whistle coming from the engine compartment when I start the car. It only lasts about 30 seconds then winds down. Almost like a small pump or something charging up and then winding down when finished. No drive-ability problems just the whine..30 seconds....then winds down. AC is working good, Power steering okay...no noticeable problems with the operation of the car.
Hope to get a handle on it before it becomes a more serious issue. Any suggestions?
