Default "Replace bulb" warning light on

Hi there.
Recently purchased a '97 E200 petrol and am loving every minute of it. However, the other day the "Replace Bulb" warning light started to come on when I turn on parking (and main) lights, but all of the bulbs are working fine. Brakelights functioning properly too.

Any ideas??

CHECK THE AMBER PARKING LAMP BULBS IN THE FRONT BUMPER. TURN THE LIGHTS ON AND GIVE THEM A TAP WITH YOU FIST. SAME FOR THE REAR PARKING LIGHTS.

My 2003 E320 was randomly doing the same ... check light, and it was on. Today it did it again and in fact, the license plate light was out. Auto Zone had one for $3.99 - bulb looks like a fuse. I suspect ohlord is correct.

Yep, just had a look and the license plate bulb on the rightIS out.
Thanks a million everyone for the pointers.

All the best, Shredderal
