I know this is a trivial question but could someone who has a 2007/8 CLK tell me whether there's a light inside the trunk (i.e. one that comes on inside the trunk when you open it).

Maybe I'm going mad (probably) but I thought there was. After recently having work done on my 2007 CLK63 I noticed that there was not (the dealer did work in the trunk, hence my suspicion).

I have a 2007 350clk cab. There is a light in the trunk. It is behind the driver's side tail light. A little to the left of the tail light as you are looking in the trunk. It is just a "pop in" to the trunk lining. It could easily "pop out".
