Ok just got a 99 CLK320 and the radio is acting weird. Not sure if it’s the radio or the amp but the sound from the drivers side speakers goes on and off. The right side is working fine but the left side comes and goes. I have to turn the radio of and on several times for the sound to be in both left and right side of the speakers. Anyone had this problem ?? Is it some kind of programming thing ?? Can someone tell me where the amp is ??

The other thing, I noticed that the electric fan (when working) is blowing the air away from the engine. Don’t fans turn the other way around ?? Like blow the air into the engine area and not the other way around ??

 

my 2002 CLK 430 does the same thing. the right speakers sometimes don't come on. i have to turn the car off, take out the key, and then turn the car back on. usually comes back on after a couple of attempts. the dealer can't say anything about it since it never does it in their presence. can't help u on the fan.
