Default 2006 CLK500 losing convertible top fluid

As stated I have a 06 clk500 losing,I'm assuming, fluid. It's a new purchase and top wouldn't work because rear head rest were tripped. I reset those, refilled reservoir, pump is pumping fluid....EMPTY!! Refilled..pumping...EMPTY!! I Did this for a total of 1 litre of fluid. Capacity is 1.5. I can't see any fluid puddling, spray or anything like that! Am I missing something or should I keep adding fluid? Am I actually losing fluid or is there a bleeding procedure!?!? Thanks in advance!!

I'll be picking up a 2008 CLK 350 with known top issues. I'll be using the following group to help with the diagnosis and fix. They're referenced frequently on forums and seem to know their stuff. They may be able to help you with your issue. Good luck.

All of those cylinders are to the age where the seals are gone. Look under the vehicle - you likely have lots of oil just ahead of the rear wheels. this is where the oil will drain for those lift seals to be blown. Also, in the trunk area behind the rear wheels is another area that they will leak.

Here's who I recommend, hands down.
