W176 M270.910 1.6 Engine Timing Marks (Cam to Sprockets)
Am rebuilding the engine of 2013 A180 BlueEffecncy, but this engine does not have an apparent timing marks in referance to camshaft and sprockets (Adjusters) with each other.
the cam have an arrow and the rear of sprockets have several marks at different locations. its not clear if the arrow should line up with what mark, its puzzling me.
Generlly speaking older mercs sprocket slides over a key or a pin locator. this is not the case here, the sprocket has no physical connections to the cam.
i wonder if any of our members has knowledge as how to reattach with correct position. i would appreciate any assistance. thank you
