'97 c230 with the center single wiper that goes up and down as it moves side to side. I've noticed that the wiper seems a little sluggish sometimes and I'm thinking that it may need some lubrication. So far, I haven't been able to figure out how to get to the gears. Anyone know how to get the plastic cover off so the gearing can be lubricated? Thanks in advance for your help.

 

The entire cowl needs to come off, then the whole wiper linkage has to come out. I have done this a few times at work and it is not a fun job. If your not used to this kind of thing, pay the bucks and bring it to the dealership.
