I have a 2003 C230 Kompressor. I am looking at buying aftermarket wheels and tires and was wondering what is the maximum size rim I can go with. One of the wheel companys diagrams showed that a 20" rim would fit my car. I dont want to go that big, maybe a 19" but probably 18", anyway I would like to know what my options are. Thanks for any suggestions.

 

In my opinion 19's would be the largest I would go. 20's just don't look right for some reason. Ride comparison between 18's and 19's well the 18's will be a bit more forgiving since you will have more sidewall.

Just a suggestion. If you decide to go 18's you may want to consider lowering the ride height about 1 to 1.5 for a more aggressive stance plus to eliminate open wheel well. With 19's you may not need to lower. Enjoy
