Hello,.... to everyone,... had a big problem finding a replacement inner front boot for my 2003 Mercerdes C240 4matic. Apparently Mercedes does not carry the part, forcing you to pay $750 for a new axle complete or a salvage one for $100-$250 with no guarantee. My Axle assembly was good, just both boots were bad. Mercedes did stock the outer boot, but not the inner boot. I didn't wanna go with the Universal split Boot, just had them come apart in the past. I got lucky and found a replacement at O'Reilly's Auto parts for $14 with life time warrenty. The Part#7411. It's just a little smaller, which made a better "fit" but worked "perfect".... So $40 and my time and labor my 4matic,.... is back on the road ! D

P.S. Remove the motor mount next to the axle to give you clearance to get a small pry bar between the axle and transmission to remove the axle.
