Hello everyone. I have a question here and need some opinions. I have a 2001 C320 and my extended warranty is almost done. I just have until March 09 (and for just this year it covers Power Train only). I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a good aftermarket warranty company. I should also note that I live in Canada. If anyone had any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

 

How many KM are on the car, and how much have you needed the current warranty?

I'm not sure how many companies cover cars this old.

 

Hey, I got about 56 000 KM and Ive needed it a couple times just for electrical things, nothing major though.

 

That's very low mileage for a 2001.

One thing to be aware of with extended warranties is that many of them--including the one my site refers people to(Warranty Direct)doNOT cover diagnostic costs. And with electrical issues the diagnostic costs can be much larger than the repair costs. Just something to check when you're comparing them.
