I live in Scranton, Pa. and been repeatedly warned by the German car nuts in the area to stay away from Motorworld in Wilkesbarre, Pa. I was having problems with the transfer case on my 06 C 280 4matic. WHAT TO DO?? I called my BMW motorcycle dealer (Hermys in Hamburg, Pa. and was referred to Knopf Mercedes, Porsche, Audi in Allentown. The car hit the shop at 09:00 this morning and by 09:45 the service folks told me I needed a transfer case, they had one and did I want it installed today? I was told it would take 4 hours. I said "have at it and do an allignment while you are there" The work began at aproximately 10:00. During that time, they drove me to a convienience store and a resturant, did the work and washed the car. It was ready at 14:00 hrs. The entire staff were polite to a fault and constantly asking me if there was anything else they could do for me. In short, I have NEVER been treated so well by a dealer in my life and I didn't even buy the car there. Before handing the car back to me, their quality control person scanned the entire car and took it for a test ride to make sure everything was right.

If you have an Benz, Audi or Porsche, you should look them up!

The transfer case was done under warranty and the only thing I paid for was the allignment.

 

Not enough is said when a shop treats us "right". We'll tell fifty strangers if a place ever wrongs us, but the good ones might get mentioned to three or four close friends.
Thanks for sharing with us, and I hope this sort of thing is routine there.

And thank your lucky stars for that warranty, I'd think.
