Just bought a 06 C230. Trying to use the cigarette lighter in front to charge my phone but it doesn't continuously give power. I tried charging my GPS unit also and I still get the same issue, it charges for a few seconds then stops. If I push the charger in and hold it in place it will charge.

Any idea's how to fix or what is causing issue?

 

youll probably need to bend the tabs inside the lighter. make sure the key is off or youll blow the fuse. youll see 4 tabs, bend each one slightly in toward the inside of the lighter. 2 on the sides and 2 on the bottom use a small pocket screwdriver or an angled pick to bend them that should take care of your issue.
