I cannot get the power cords for my radar detector or ipod to properly plug into the cigarette lighter. Thus, neither of them will work. The same "cords" work in my Jeep. Any ideas? Is this a crazy German thing? Do I need some type of adapter?

 

I had a problem wiht this in my audi a8. they would fit in sze wise but did not connect the power. after years of no cigarette lighter power, we discovered it wa just a blown fuse lol. check that
