Angry w202 central panel removal

Can anyone offer any advice on the removal of the panel around the automatic gear shift on a C200 W202. I need to replace one of the switches but can't find any info on the removal of the panel.

Cheers!!

Prise up the plastic frame surrounding the selector level panel, which is secured by two clips on either side. Carefully prise up the console centre panel from around the gear/selector lever - there are two clips either side. Lift the panel off over the gear/selector lever and disconnect the wiring connector(s).Models from Sept. 1995 onwards have just one connector, but earlier models have more than one. /mark the positions of the connectors/.

Nice one, have managed to get the panel off with relative ease as you described, unfortunately have bought the wrong switch so can't replace it anyway.

Switch I have bought has 3 pins, but i needed a pcb mounted one so could be a pain. Cheers anyway!
