I recently purcahsed as 2001 C240. The left front turn signal bulb burnt. I tried to follow the instructions on replacing the bulb. I "turned" the "socket" as instructed, but when I try to pull the bulb out, the entire headlight assembly seems to move, and I cannot pull out the bulb "easily". I have not tried pulling hard, as I am afraid something is wrong.

Am I missing something.

No, you're on the right track. Just turn it and pull it straight out. It's probably just a bit
stuck.

 

Exactly. The lens just pops out and then the bulb does the same. Pretty straight forward. I went ahead and changed out both of mine assuming the other would burn out too.
