I changed mine at 75K. Trust me, the old fluids were so nasty! Make sure you follow the direction from the service manual real well and buy the special dipstick if DIY.

 

Everyone listen, Sleepwalker is right. Now I change mine every spring. That's probably not necessary, but when it comes to the tranny I always err on the side of safety. Temperature kills tranny fluid and the summers in Alabama are brutal so just to be safe I change it every spring. WHATEVER YOU DO CHANGE IT AT LEAST EVERY 60K. This sealed for life crap is just that, crap. Looks good on paper, doesn't stand up in reality. Again I don't want to jinx my car, but 175k origninal everything, except engine mounts and shocks, which is normal. Many people are losing their tranny's at about 100k. I don't believe it's by chance mine has lasted longer and still shifts perfectly.
