Hi, iam new to the forum and have a question about changing the tranny fluid in my ml55 amg 2001. the truck has 140,000 miles and runs great and shifts smooth. the oil has never been changed and does not smell or look bad. the dealer says dont worry about changing the oil.... i need some advice from you guys.

 

shoot man, change that stuff. It's inexpensive and it's the OIL. It's the LIFE BLOOD. Don't mean to be dramatic (well, maybe a bit) but if it runs that well with oil from 2001 it'll only be a bit happier with fresh stuff. How do you feel after new contact lenses, or fresh sheets, or maybe a shower. All things just feel better. And it'll help you stop wonderin should you do it....
