Thinking of buying a C280

Default Thinking of buying a C280

Hey guys, Im really looking into buys a C280 between 94-97 just wondering what people feed back on them are..any problems? any hints at what to look for..
does anyone know the 1/4 mile times, stuff like that

any information on this car would b fantastic

Some of those years had problems with the wirering harness, while all those years had head gasket problems. Mercedes switched to a V6 from an I6 in '98. Other than that, I think they are pretty nice cars.
They arn't very fast. Don't have any time figures, but with just around 200 HP and Torque, with a 3,300 pound car, you'll have ample power but nothing to write home about.

My suggestion, get a later model year. the bugs are more likely to get worked out and the price difference might be worthwhile. Just a suggestion.

i say go with a 97 or newer model. i have a 99 C280 and its a great car. its really pricy if you have problems but thats with all euro cars. i have the sport edition and its pretty quick to.

Get a 1998 or later, the V6 has less problems. I am sure there isn't much difference in price from 97 to 98.
