This weekend I plan to change rear shocks (2002 C240 w/o sport suspension) and want to have everything ready. The replacement shocks came with all upper mounting hardware, but not with a replacement bottom mounting bolt & nut. I'd prefer not to reuse the old hardware. Can anyone provide the specs for the bolt & nut? I'm hoping I can replace these at the local hardware.

This is a simple question, but a search provided no answer.

 

Do you have alternate transportation? If it comes down to it just pull the hardware off and take it to the store to match it up...
