Will pay top $$ for the correct CD Changer Mounting Bracket for 1997-1998 SL (fits either SL500 or SL600). This bracket mounts vertically in a "well" on the driver's side of the trunk.

I haven't been able to identify a part # for the CD Changer bracket. My Mercedes dealer doesn't know, can't find it, and MBUSA doesn't respond to my email queries.

Does anyone have access to this information? The part would be a CD Changer Mounting Bracket that would fit a 1997 Mercedes SL500. This also fits the early 1998 model, which is what I have.

 

The part number of the CD Changer bracket on an SL500 is A 129 820 16 14 and it is about £125.00 from MB UK

Nah... they claim that the part is no longer available.

 

I will get a picture of it to make sure it is the correct part and if it is I will check availability.

 

Thanks billywhizz... this is frustrating. I'm REALLY disappointed with MB USA. They have been absolutely no help in this search.
