Prospective Mercedes buyer needs help
Hey guys, first time Mercedes (and car for that matter ) buyer... I would appreciate some help in finding a used Mercedes for me.
My price range is 10,000-15,000, looking in the Orange County, California area. With that range, most of the cars I'm finding on Autotrader.com have 50,000 to 80,000 miles on them...I like the looks of the C-class, but am not sure of the reliablilty issues that might come up with that kind of mileage/year dates- from my sparse readings the early 2000s C classes seem they might have some problems... maybe I would be better off with an E-Class? anyway, I'm just rambling, so let me clarify:
Price range:$10,000-$15,000
Miles: Not greater than 75,000 (I'm hoping)
C class ok? Or should I be looking for a late 90's E class?
Engine: Probably no less than a 6 cylinder, so that would eliminate the C230, yes?
I would be open to any suggestions and thanks in advance for the help.
