Hi All

I am new to Merc's I have just aquired a C230 Kompressor 1998, I have been flashed a few times and today someone told me and said that my rear Fogs were on, I want to see if any of you chaps have a picture of your cars in the dark, Am I right in thinking there is 2 sets of rear lights when the lights are on full outer lights and inner lights is it the outer lights that come on when you brake.

I dont know if its just the wrong bulbs, I also dont think the fog light comes on as when I pull the light *** once the front ones come on when I pull it a second time the light in the middle of the *** comes on but the rear fog doesnt.

I could really do with some advise a picture would be ace.

when you pull out the first detent you get the fronts, then pull out again to get the 1 and only rear fog light, usually always the left side inner "park bulb" at the bottom gets brighter. brake lights are the top lights. if your rear fog bulb is not coming on you could have the wrong bulb installed??

 

I have had a look this morning and I think the wrong bulbs have been put in, am I right in thinking there are 2 sets of rear lights? outer and inner, I have taken the inner bulbs out as these seem to the worng ones it looks like double filiment ones.

I will get some new bulbs and fingers crossed this will cure it.
