Hi all...
Is the only way i can disable the speed limit alarm is by disconnecting the cable... I mean in some cars u do it from the control panel... AND if disconnecting the cable is the only way, does it disable other alarms too!!
by the way i have a 2002 C200 komp coupe.

This is a interesting feature, I don't have it on my 99 C280. But my wife had a 94 audi with a similar feature, it you passed the preset speed that you set. A bell type alarm rang every 20 seconds or so or until you went under the preselected speed are turned it off.

 

yeah.. U could do that in BMWs too... you can make your speed limit setting and disable the alarm if u want... too bad we don't have it.. I need to keep my music loud to cover that noise... hehehe

 

on your next visit to the dealer...tell them to set it to "inactive".
