Hi

How do we open the boot lid from inside the car without using the car key? Is there some setup we can do on the on board computer?

now i dont know for sure on the 2012...but the old c class had a switch on the driver door near the pocket.

 

Not on the new 2012 model. They do not have any visible opening from the inside.

 

It is a 2012? Would this feature be explained to you in the owners manual/handbook? Or possibly call the dealership service department....

 

i actually looked at a new 2012 C class and it does have a trunk release switch on the driver door. below the handle, beside the door speaker. next to the door pocket..i was told that it is optional?? not sure about that. maybe if you have a power trunk it has the interior switch. I find it hard to believe that a car wouldnt have a switch. since i saw this post i went to work and checked 5 new 2012 C class cars and all had a trunk release switch on the driver door.
