Hi there

My name is Joao (= John ) and im from Portugal;this is my first post here. Great forum, guys!

I have a 1993 W202 C180 (gasoline) and i'm having some troubles since the engine was washed [:@][:@]to pass an inspection that must be made in Portugal to cars with more than 4 years.

When i start the car, the engine goes up to 1.000 rpm (normal until now) and then ... down on RPM (to about 400/500) and almost stops ... he strugles to get to 800 rpm and if dont give it a little bit more gas (accelerator) when i start drinving IT STOPS! [&:]

When the engine is hot, no problem!

Is it the throttle body?

Any of theseparts need to be replaced or cleaned ?
