Just picked up a 2006 C230 Sport
Well, the gas prices were killing me in the Land Rover. I let my very boxy suv go for a very slightly used (12,500miles) 2006 C230 Sport. Its in an unusual color, granite gray metallic. I picked it up from a middle aged woman semi pro golfer. She was moving up to the ML.
Car is almost perfect, one small ding and a curbed wheel (dealership taking care of).
Does anyone make an exhaust that will give this little car a bit more growl? I know she will never be fast, I'd just like to hear it a bit more.
Cheers!

Nice. I have an '06 C230 Sport in Granite Grey too and am coming up on 12k miles - no problems at all.
Do you have the Ash interior (light Grey)? That is a bear to keep clean byt lovely.
Too bad she curbed a wheel. She must have hit it pretty hard. The Michelin Pilots on mine
offer some protection - but I am very careful.
Also watch the front bumper when you park so you do not rub the bottom.
FWIW I routinely get about 24.5 MPG driving a bit like an old lady. I struggle to get about
17 MPG in my wifes Honda Pilot (I am sure your Rover was worse than that).
Popping the C230 in Sport mode is quite entertaining and it really does move if you rev it - that will put your mileage in Rover Land though....

Congrats! I also have an 06, white with ash interior. Interior is indeed tough to keep clean, especially in northern areas where the weather is nasty. I have over 28k of completely trouble free thoroughly enjoyed miles on mine. Only complaint so far is lack of low end torque, but power overall isn't bad. I got about 26k out of my rear stock michelins so now I'm on my michelin snow tires for the rest of the season. I'll pick up new rears next spring. Fronts are still in good shape and in storage now. With the Mich Alpin's I have fantastic snow performance. Hope you have as good a owners experience as I have!
