Interested in buying 2009 C-350 - Question on Media Player
I'm very interested in purchasing one of these cars, but I have a question. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I have an OmniFi media player in my current car. I would prefer to not install this unit in a mint C-350 and read that the inbuilt multimedia system can have the ability to play MP3 files from a USB attached device. Is that true?
If so, I have a boat load of questions. Of course no one at a dealership seems to know the answers to these, so I thought I'd poll the forums:
How do you navigate through the content on a USB thumbdrive?
What if I have thousands of tracks, organized by folder? Will it show them in an ordered list?
Does playing tracks from an external USB device get muted when an incoming phone call comes in?
Is there any documented specifications for USB devices that it can work with?
Is there a maximum capacity for USB device that it can use? What filesystem does the device have to be formatted to, for this to work?
Thanks in advance for any answers.
