Hello All,

I am a MB owner (03' C240) and I am interested in moving on to a ML 350 due to the need for an all whel drive vehicle. I test drove an 07 the other day and was I impressed. Not knowing much about this specific vehicle I am interested in anyone's experience with this model and what I need to look out for relative to any chronic or annoying issues. My research to date has seems to indicate about 80% positive experiences. The other 20% are pretty dismal with a lot of computer reset issues, unfriendly nav system, and the thought that the vehicle is over rated.
I accept differences of opinions but am looking for a common thread.

Had an 06 ML350. It was a leased vehicle. Loved it and was going to buy the vehicle but MB could not resolve the issue with the transmission getting stuck in 1st gear. I believe there is a fix which is a combination of a bigger throttle body coupled with a software upgrade. This may have been ficed with the 07 models. Have an 09 with no transmission issues. I do not believe there were many changes from 06 to 07 model years. The 06 was my 1st benz. Needed and SUV and it delievered. Fit and finish were fantastic. I received a lot of compliments on the vehicle. My 09 has been flawless. I do not think you will be dissappointed.
